How did you manage that? Diesel pumps are bigger and are designed not to fit into petrol filler necks and they are a different colour (BLACK) to petrol pumps (GREEN).
Only way is to either find a way of using the existing pump to pump out along existing lines running to a bucket or to drop the tank, you can always just run the car till its empty, wont cause damage but will run like horse sh*t for a while.

To remove the gas tank from a 1994 Yukon GT, first, ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and disconnect the negative battery cable for safety. Then, relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay and running the engine until it stalls. Next, support the gas tank with a jack, disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors, and unbolt the tank straps. Finally, lower the tank carefully and remove it from the vehicle.
You will need to take the fuel tank off the 1991 Toyota Celica GT and remove the fuel pump and replace it. Always make sure to drain the gas before you take the tank off the car.
