There is most likely something in the gas tank. When the car starts the fuel pump starts sucking in fuel and when the trash gets to it the gas will not be able to flow through the clogged pump so the car stalls. When it stalls the fuel pump stops suction and the trash comes out allowing it to start again.

Sounds like gas filter getting plugged with rust or something. Then after being down for while the rust falls off filter and starts until gas pressure plugs the filter again with dirt or rust or whatever.

ummm... sounds like u probably warped the heads or somthing had a similar problem in my 1994 Pontiac grand Prix SE and now the heads are totally gone, there is about 10 inches of white milky liquid on the oil dipstick (oil and antifreeze mix) or it could be a faulty temperature sensor, might want to have your cooling system checked if it gets so hot it stalls!!
