I have a 1999 Mercedes Benz ML 320 which should be identical to the 2000. I have heard many web sites say that their is a second fuse box or the "E" box located on the passenger side where your feet go. This is simply not true.
Most people may be looking for the "E" fuse box as they blew a fuse for their power seats. To access the "E" box take the cover off of your fuse box. Then to the rear of the main fuse box their is a second larger cover with five screws that is a cover for the computer and wiring harness. You will need a special star head screwdriver. When you remove that cover, you will find a couple of additional fuses. Two of these fuses are for the ML320 power seats.
No where on the web did I find a proper answer for this question. And no where in MB documents did they note the location of these fuses.
