In a Renault Scenic, you should add water to the windshield washer reservoir, which is typically located under the hood. To access it, open the hood and look for a container marked with a windshield wiper symbol. Simply remove the cap and pour in the water, making sure not to overfill. If you need to top up the coolant, that will be in a separate reservoir, usually labeled and located nearby.

For a 2004 Renault Scenic 1.5L diesel, it's recommended to use an antifreeze that meets the specifications of Renault, typically a long-life coolant with a mixture of ethylene glycol and water. Look for a coolant that is either blue or green, as these are commonly used in Renault vehicles. Always check the owner's manual for specific recommendations regarding the coolant type and mixing ratios to ensure optimal performance and protection against freezing and corrosion.
For the Renault Scenic 1.6, the recommended engine oil is typically a fully synthetic oil with a viscosity rating of 5W-30 or 10W-40, meeting the specifications of ACEA A3/B4 or Renault RN0700. As for coolant, a compatible ethylene glycol-based antifreeze with a 50/50 mix of water is advisable, preferably one that meets Renault's specifications, like Renault's own coolant or a similar quality product that is phosphate-free. Always consult your owner’s manual for specific requirements and recommendations.
