What year s 500 it makes a big difference basic lights are if u have a brake wear lining light or a circle light with dashs around it thats the brake wear light [ pads low] if its red and says brakes check brake fluid in master clynder
Your sbc hydraulic pump or sbc auxiliary battery my be faulty.you should bring your vehicle to a shop for diagnosis.their is no way for you to reset this code yourself.
You need a code reader that plugs into car's diagnostic port.
i would check that the brake light switch is not sticking in the on position,and that there is enuff clearance to allow it to shut off when brake not applied
