every code is different your code will be in the manual and its a four digit code
i don't even know when this question was asked, but you should have a card that came with your car (maybe in your handbook?) that has a code. you use your radio station buttons until you have that code entered in your digital readout area and then your radio will work.
show me where to add power sterring fluid to my 1999 beetle
The paint code will be located in the trunk area on the spare tire cover of a new Volkswagen Beetle.
( Yes ) the 1999 Volkswagen new beetle is a front wheel drive vehicle
5X100
It requires special tools. They get inserted into the slots at the bottom of the radio.
fuse number for the radio 2005 betele vw/ radio is off complety
I own a v.w. beetle. Had to have the radio replaced in it. Brought it to the v.w. dealership. They had to call Germany to get the code for the radio. Sometimes it is written down in your owner's manuel. That's where my old one was before I put the new radio in. Did you know you can't even change the battery in the car without plugging it up to keep and electrical charge are you will not be able to start your car. There has to be a 12 volt going through it at all times. There is also a code for that to. that's v.w.'s for ya. We have to pay for all these problems.
I believe it to be the same as my 2000 Bug. In your owners manual is a code to be entered into your radio to bring it back to life. If you can not find in your owners manual-try under your spare-that is where the dealership had to find my code to bring it back to life. Just enter the code & the radio should come back to life.
If you dont have your code you can pull out the radio get the numbers on the side or top then call the service dept. at an new car dealer.
No, you dont need the code if your gonna put in an aftermarket deck. The only time you would need the code is if you took the stock radio out and unpluged the harness, so its not a problem with a new radio.
The anti-theft code may be either the code designated for your radio, or the factory (non valet) key. I changed the battery in my 91 legend and the car would start for about 1 second and then shut down. I experienced something similar in a 2000 new beetle. In the beetle it was because the key was not sync'd to the car. With that information I tried my factory equipped key in the ignition, made sure that my radio code was correct and found that it started right up and kept running.
