can u tell me what wires do what on the air intake sensor on a 2007 vectra 1.8 sri
The Intake Air Temperature sensor is either part of the Air flow sensor, or a separate sensor in the intake pipes not far from it.
The idle air control valve on a Vauxhall Vectra B is located on the intake manifold. The valve is placed in front of the air tubing, right behind the engine cylinder head.
The inlet air temperature sensor on a Vauxhall Vectra 2.0L 16V 140 SRI from the year 2000 is typically located in the intake manifold or air intake duct, near the throttle body. It is often mounted directly in the air intake pipe or manifold to accurately measure the temperature of the incoming air. Accessing it may require removing some engine covers or components for better visibility. Always consult the vehicle’s service manual for specific details and diagrams.
take the air intake pipe off the top of throttle housing clean inside of chamber with choke and carb cleaner put the air intake pipe back on and start car light shuold go out.
if it has air condition it is behind the pollen filter under the bonet
Just after the airbox before the air flow sensor
Because most if not all vauxhall engines are air cooled, hence when you are driving the temp comes down
my was falt in drivers seat belt but there are heaps of other things that can bring this problem up
Cold air intake, supercharger and down pipes.
To change the rocker cover gasket on a Vauxhall Vectra, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Remove any components obstructing access to the rocker cover, such as the air intake and ignition coils. Unscrew the rocker cover bolts and gently lift off the cover, cleaning the mating surfaces thoroughly. Replace the old gasket with a new one, reassemble the components in reverse order, and ensure everything is tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
Youll need to remove the air box if its on a vectra B. Then remove the cambelt cover. There should be a bolt between the cam pullies, undo it and left out sensor. Then put everything back in reverse
