Dash speakers are 3.5" (9cm) and are held in by a pair of torx T25 screws.
Rear speakers are 6x9"

The speakers in a 2004 Saab 9-3 sedan with 13 speakers measure: 3 1/2 inches in the dash, 5 1/4 inches in the rear deck, as well as 6 x 9 inches in the rear deck, and 6 3/4 inches in the front door. The car also came in models with 4 speakers and 7 speakers.
In a 1996 MB E320/W210 (w/out Bose) the speaker sizes are as follows: Front Door- 6 3/4 (smaller sizes may fit with brackets) Rear Door- 3 1/2 Rear Deck Lid- 6 3/4 (smaller sizes may fit with brackets)
if you have the Bose speaker system your looking at 3 6.5"... one in each door and one hidden in a panel in the trunk
