There are several areas coolant can leak from. If by "under the body" you mean you see it is under the car but not necessarily right under the engine it could be leaking from a component on the engine then running down the frame before it drops to the ground.
Common area for leaks is the water pump. There is a "weep hole" at the bottom of the pump behind the pulley.
First and foremost, check your coolant levels. If you have insufficient coolant, you'll get heat but only after a long time. It could be a heater core problem, or a plugged line but low coolant is a common cause. First and foremost, check your coolant levels. There should be a coolant reservoir under the hood, it will have some markings on it indicating hot and cold coolant levels. If that is empty that is a good indicator that you may have low coolant.
Yes, a bad heater core can cause antifreeze to leak under the dash. The heater core is responsible for transferring heat from the engine coolant to the cabin, and if it develops a leak, coolant can escape and drip onto the floorboard. This can result in a wet carpet and potentially lead to further issues if not addressed promptly. Additionally, a leaking heater core can cause a sweet smell inside the vehicle and may lead to engine overheating if coolant levels drop significantly.
Coolant leaking from the heater core.
not any oil in your heater core although the heater core uses coolant coming from and returning to the engine so when damaged or being worked on coolant can leak under the dash and into the floor
Coolant leak.
Probably a coolant leak.
If it is water, it could be a plugged up AC condensation drain or if it is engine coolant, it could be a leaky heater core.
Heater core is probally leaking. Should be located under dash on passenger side.
Heater core / hose leaking.
your heater core is bad
You probably have a puncture in your heater core.
your heater core is leaking. this is located most the time under the dash. you will have to have it replaced
