To change the oil pump on a Ford Fiesta N reg, first, ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and drain the engine oil. Remove the oil pan by unscrewing the bolts and disconnecting the oil pick-up tube. Then, unbolt the old oil pump from the engine block and replace it with the new one, ensuring to align it properly. Reassemble by reinstalling the oil pick-up tube, oil pan, and refilling with new oil.
For a Ford Fiesta 1.25 61 reg, it's recommended to use a fully synthetic engine oil with a viscosity of 5W-20 or 5W-30, meeting the specifications of Ford WSS-M2C913-C. Always check the owner's manual for the specific oil requirements and recommendations, as well as to ensure compatibility with your vehicle's engine. It's also advisable to use oil that meets the ACEA or API performance standards for optimal engine performance.
it is possible i have seen it done before a lot people tend to put a 1.7 puma engine in a fiesta because it is lighter and faster it has variable cam timing a company that do this conversion and the best to ask are pumabuild cheack there website
i recently brought a fiesta and never checked the oil level untill i noticed the light coming on when braking at junctions. i used a bottle and half of SW/30 especially for fords that i purchased from Tesco. Make sure the engine is cool before adding it in otherwise it could make the engine seize :?
semi synthetic or can use full sytheyic
a w plate fiesta engine will fit into an 02 model, the main thing to checks wiring looms etc power steering was optional on the mk4's
Take the old one out. Put the new one in. Done
5w30 A1 semi synthetic or better still, fully synthetic oil. I use castrol magnatec 5w30 fully synth in my 2002 1.25 zetec and it runs sweet with it. Use a ford oil filter though.

It would depend on your climate. Check the drivers manual for that info.
