28-30mpg :)
The 1963 Volkswagen Beetle gets 10 to 12 miles per gallon. The Volkswagen Beetle originated in Germany and was designed by Adolf Hitler.
I owned a 71 SuperBug and the highway gas mileage was 28-32.
The gas mileage of a 1964 bug depends on if you have had a new engine put into it, on average a 1964 bug has a 1450cc-1500cc engine in it. Meaning it will have around 50-56 hp. The lower the horse power, the smaller the engine. If you have a 10% smaller engine you get about 6% higher gas mileage. If your slug bug has an ac kit it lowers gas mileage by 3. On average a 1964 bug will have 28-36 mph
For automatic it's 20/26
A 2004 Volkswagen bug's gas tank can hold approximately 14 to 14 and a half gallons of gas. This is typical of cars not only manufactured in 2004 but many cars today still have this tank capacity.
My 73 gets 38mpg in town
26-27 MPG Highway
14-18 miles per gallon not 50
There is no ONE answer to this question. Audi Q7 TDI, Chevrolet Corvette, Volkswagen Passat are some of the cars that provide good gas mileage along with comfortable drive.
Luckily, the VW Jetta is one of th emost fuel efficient vehicles in the country. The gas mileage in the city for an automatic 2009 VW Jetta is 29MPG.
