I am not positive about the Turbo, but I can tell you sticker on my 79 911SC Targa was $31K purchased Nov 1978. I believe I saw some Turbos for sale around that time for $42K. That depends on who you get it from, if you want it installed professionally, etc. For just the kit alone from the shop I order all of my aftermarket parts from (let it be known ahead of time I'm not affiliated by them), a turbo kit from them is $4200. This should get you going in the right direction...
