cabrio is a convertible
cabrio's were made from 1995-2002. cabriolet is anything older than 1995.
1980-1993: Cabriolet, Mk1 1995-1999: Cabrio, Mk3 1999.5-2002: Cabrio, Mk3.5 or Mk4 (depends on which side of the pond you're on) And now are all replaced by the Eos here in the states
th different between is the interior , gl have sunroof only , the gls have everything , full poer , sunroof , leather...
body shape not much. Diff is under the hood - GLS = 4 cylinder and GLX = 6 cylinder.
I have a 2001 cabrio, not a Jetta, however, the dealer never wanted a key code only vin number. Hope this will help you out.
About five horsepower
Resistor is a separate unit from the blower motor
The Cabriolet is what the called the Cabrio before. The Convertible is the style of the car. It just means the top comes off. Hope that answers your question. Cabriolet is the french word for Convertible. It's my undersdtanding that post 1995, the model Cabriolet became Cabrio.
Yes... buy any Jetta, Golf or Cabrio model disc brakes or strip them at the junk yard. its easy to install but its possible. make sure its only from the years 1996-1998 if not it won't work
the price and the name, it depends on the year, later model jettas were built in Mexico and Brazil, passats only Germany.
Jetta GL is the bottom of the barrel for jettas. they tend to come 2.0 liter 4cyl and plain interior. GLX comes fully loaded just about with leather sunroof and all wheel drive v6 2.8 ltr. My choice GLX.
