There's something wrong with the engine that could damage it if you continue driving normally.
The likely causes are any of the many sensors, or the engine management ECU itself. You really need to get the car to someone that can read engine trouble codes (a garage), or if your car is earlier than 2002 then it has to be a garage (as C5's didn't have the diagnostic connector til after 2002).
Most likely cause is the ABS control module (cost apx.1,000.00) including labor from your local dealer. Or about a 300.00 do it yourself project. Go to modulemaster.com for details on the do it yourself.
Check fuel cap: Illuminates when the fuel cap may not be properly installed. Continued driving with this light on may cause the Service engine soon warning light to come on.
It is not a car battery warning light. It is the charging system warning light. More than likely your alternator is going bad. It could also be a loose or worn drive belt, loose or corroded cable, just to name a couple of things. Have the charging system looked at.
A leak in the braking circuit is a likely cause.. Brake fluid leaking from a poorly tightened joint etc - will cause the level in the reservoir to fall - causing the sensor to trip the warning light.
i had a citroen saxo and had the same problem it is most likely the ignition coil AA charged mer £100 for part and fitting
The yellow dashboard warning light you are seeing on your 2003 Dodge Neon is most likely the fuse warning light. You will most likely need to go to a mechanic to find out which fuse needs to be replaced.
The good news is the brake lights still appear to work even when this warning is displayed. Does anyone know if the brake lights are at risk of not coming on when you hit the brakes?
Coolant level warning light. It is either your coolant warning light, wiper fluid warning light or low tire pressure warning light.
Sounds like the torque converter is in lock up mode. Can't help with fix without more info.
Directly, no, but it's possible that the same root cause (something wrong with the electrical system) could make both warning lights come on.
Most likely cause is a faulty under bonnet pin switch
Because your bonnet's open!
