Tire pressures for ALL makes and models are on the inside of the drivers door jam.
the VW beetle with radial tires should have 17 lbs PSI in the front and 24 PSI in the rear. That may have been the recommended pressure for bias tires. Radials tend to require at least 26 psi.
Well, when it comes to tire pressure, it's like painting a happy little picture. For a 2000 VW Beetle, the recommended tire pressure can usually be found on a sticker inside the driver's side door jamb or in the owner's manual. Just like adding the perfect touch of color to a painting, make sure to check and adjust the tire pressure regularly to keep your Beetle running smoothly and safely.
Check your drivers side door jam. Tire pressure label is at the bottom. Front tire is 240 KPA or 35 PSI. Rear is 300 KPA or 44 PSI. Spare tire is 300KPA or 44 PSI. These pressure ranges are for tire size 195 165 R15 which are the original equipment size for the 2004 Passat 1.8t.
30 psi or 2 bar is a good figure for any car, if the car is fully loaded then 30 psi at the front 32 at the back. i have a mk 5 golf and the tire pressure is printed on the inside of the petrol flap
refer to the tires (wall) which will tell you the pressure if unreadable or not that refer to a garage or a car shop
Check the max psi labeled on the side of the tire. If you cannot find it then open your drivers door and look at the plate mounted either on the side of the door or the door jamb.
