The manual calls for 93 octane. If you use anything less, you'll find that performance suffers-- and, you'll likely end up getting poorer gas mileage to boot.
Does a BMW X5 need to use 95 octane fuel in Australia
NO, you need to use super, 93 octane
Super or 93 Octane
Cadillac recommends you use Premium fuel of 91 octane.
no
BMW only takes gas rated at octane 91 or higher, and that is Premium at the gas station.
87 octane is good for 3.1 but if ya want to use a different octane it wont hurt.
It will run on 91 octane unleaded just fine, but it is strongly reccommended to run on a high octane like 98 or similiar.
I would use the lower octane unless the vehicle "pings" excessively and if so use the higher octane
I prefer to use 93 octane as it is an autobahn tuned vehicle and is a bit sluggish with the customary regular 87 octane (which normally contains 10% ethanol) Hope that helps. It works for me.
yes
regular unleaded - 87 octane
