help please
in the boot
Alpine
In the trunk on the lefthand side
It's on the right side of the trunk above the CD changer. Just pull the cover on the side of the trunk out of the way. It's very flexible, you won't damage it.
To load a CD into the 2006 Jaguar X-Type's CD changer, first, ensure that the vehicle's ignition is on and the audio system is powered up. Press the "Load" button on the CD changer, which will prompt you to select the desired slot number for the CD. Insert the CD into the selected slot, and it will automatically be pulled in and loaded by the changer. Finally, confirm that the CD is recognized by the system and ready for playback.
where is the starter located on a jaguar xk8?
Yes, the Jaguar XK8 does have a fuel pump.
If you have a V8 engine which I do, mine is in the trunk.
YES....All the Jaguar factory installed CD changers are compatable. They are made by Alpine but are labeled as Jaguar. So...if you need that little cable with the proprietary socket that might be missing from the replacement changer you can buy it at www.crutchfields.com (or any other auto audio store) rather than a Jag dealer. and save about $60.00. : the later Jaguars use a Ford type fitting for the CD Changers so on a 1999 V8 3.2 the CD changer is not a Din type , its the ford square plug type :
The XK8 is computer chip limited to 155mph.
