On the Mk1 Saxo VTS, the lambda sensor plugs into the exhaust system, specifically in the exhaust manifold or the front pipe, depending on the configuration. It is typically located downstream of the engine to measure the oxygen levels in the exhaust gases. This information is used by the engine management system to optimize fuel-air mixture for better performance and emissions control.

mk1 VTR has one it is located under the car in the down pipe. mk2 VTR has two, one located on manifold - the end of the cable running through the heat-shield at the front of the engine (pre-Cat converter) and one after the Cat converter where the down pipe meets the centre section. Recommend some heat present in the exhaust pipes and lots of brute force / perseverance / ignorance to remove any of these sensors!!!

On a Citroën Saxo Mk1, the engine code is typically located on a metal plate or sticker attached to the engine block itself. You can usually find it on the front or side of the engine, near the timing cover or the oil filter. Additionally, the engine code may also be stamped directly onto the engine block. Checking the owner's manual can provide specific details on its exact location for your model.
Yes, there are differences between the Saxo VTR MK1 and MK2 back axles. The MK2 generally features updated suspension components and design refinements, which can affect handling and performance. Additionally, there may be variations in mounting points and overall dimensions between the two models, so components are not always interchangeable. Always check specific compatibility if considering modifications or replacements.
