The ECU temp sender is on B bank thermostat housing on a V12, and in a similar position on the 6 cyl. The V12 oil pressure sender is on top of the V near the back, and on the left hand side of the engine low down on the 6 cyl. The crankshaft position sensor on the HE marelli is at the front of the crank, and the engine speed sensor is on the starter ring teeth at the back of the engine. THe road speed sensor is on the back of the differential for most XJSs; very early ones have it on the gearbox.
