The battery is large and by putting it here, it makes it easier to install aftermarket car audio equipment amplifiers in the trunk which than can power the 9 speaker sound system in the car since the factory amps don't last long and will start to sound like static when they begin to fail. If you need to replace the battery for this fine vehicle, this is where you will find the battery.
