In the Audi A8 (model 8L), the battery terminal is typically located in the trunk rather than under the hood. However, if you need to access the positive and negative terminals for jump-starting or other purposes, you can find a jump-start terminal near the front of the engine bay, often on the driver's side. For the actual battery, you will need to open the trunk and remove the cover in the rear compartment to access it.

To jump-start an Audi A6, first ensure both vehicles are turned off. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the dead battery to the positive terminal of the working battery, then connect the negative (-) terminal of the working battery to a grounded metal surface on the Audi (not directly to the negative terminal). Start the working vehicle and let it run for a few minutes before attempting to start the Audi. Once the Audi starts, disconnect the cables in the reverse order, ensuring not to let the clamps touch each other.
