Most of the cabin filters are underneath the hood in the engine compartment just below the windshield. There are usually three snaps that you turn counterclockwise to remove the cabin filter cover. The cabin filter sits at an angle inside this compartment. The air enters through the vent holes on the top of the hood below the windshield. It can be a little bit tricky to get the cabin filter put into the holder just so. If the top does not go back on easily, the filter is not straight.
