I want to now how i can replace the water pump in my e320 mb 1994
Fuel pump? It was on my 1998 E320. $1,100 with filter.
E320 fuel pump is located outside and forward of the fuel tank - very easy access once the tank is drained, and this car is one of the very few that has a gas tank drain plug on the bottom of the tank.
The fuel sending unit on a 1995 Mercedes E320 is located inside the fuel tank. To access it, you typically need to remove the rear seat and the access panel or, in some cases, drop the fuel tank entirely. The sending unit is attached to the fuel pump assembly, which monitors the fuel level and sends the information to the fuel gauge on the dashboard.
Actually not all E class 9r especially E320 like mine has a fuel pump relay in the fuse box under rear passenger side seat. Mine actually is part of the K40 fuse/relay box under passenger side of hood near the firewall
Check for fuel first. No fuel probably means a bad fuel pump. Check for spark, no spark could be a bad coil pack or distributor issue.
A noisy fuel pump in your Mercedes-Benz E320 can indicate several issues, such as a failing pump, a clogged fuel filter, or low fuel levels which can cause the pump to run dry and make noise. Additionally, vibrations from loose mounting or electrical issues could contribute to the sound. It's important to address the noise promptly, as it may lead to more significant fuel delivery problems or engine performance issues. Testing the pump's pressure and inspecting the fuel system can help identify the root cause.
