The Volvo 850 1997 fuel pump relay is under the fuse box compartment, you would need to take out the upper portion of it and then you would be able to easily find it undeath. elyunque000@yahoo.com

Bosch, it's the best one for a 200 Volvo
To drain fuel from a Volvo 850, first ensure the vehicle is off and cool. Locate the fuel pump relay in the fuse box and remove it to disable the fuel pump. Start the engine and let it run until it stalls, which will indicate the fuel is depleted from the system. Finally, disconnect the fuel line at the fuel rail or use a siphon pump to remove any remaining fuel from the tank through the filler neck. Always follow safety precautions when handling fuel.
That is the Fuel Injector relay and not the Fuel Pump relay. it's located in the fuse box (engine compatment)you will have to remove a cover once it's opened it's the relay # 103(it's a green relay).
Next to (underneath) the fuse cover. Take off the cover held by 4 screws. Fuel relay is labelled 103 (green 1993 onwards or red 1993).
We replaced one for a 93 and it cost $235 with tax from Advance.
it sounds like the fuel pump or fuel punp relay
There is no relay for the horn!
