Pop off the plastic engine cover- a small screwdriver pops up the 3 nut caps on the top of the cover. Unscrew the 10mm nuts that are now exposed. 2 things before you pull off the cover, just "north" of the oil cap there's a vac line clipped on to the cover, it comes right off. The other is to pull out the dipstick. NOW pull the whole cover off. right in ront of you there's a black plastic cap sitting on a tower like thingey. Unscrew it and there is your oil filter.
Oh, and when you buy your filter make sure the new one has a baggie inside the box with 2 o-rings in it. Don't skip out on replacing them on the cap. A pick or equivlent helps in taking the old o- rings off You'll see...
at the rear of the engine block to the right of the oil filter.
It is a 19mm nut located on the lower back side of the oil pan. The oil filter is in the front.
On a 2001 Ford E350 with a 7.3L diesel engine, the fuel filter is located on the driver's side frame rail, just before the fuel tank. It's typically mounted in a vertical position and can be accessed from under the vehicle. Make sure to relieve the fuel system pressure before attempting to change the filter to avoid spills.
The fuel filter on most diesel trucks is located generally right next to the intake manifold. i.e on a 2001 ram 5.9l cummins turbo diesel it is located directly in view from above the motor. it has a cap on it which needs to be turned off with a ratchet. on other trucks it should be in the same position

yes
"Where is the fuel filter located on a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu?"
you have to drop the oil pan on the TRANSMISSION, and you can't miss it, it will be right on the other side.
glow plug heater / ckts failure..
Front passenger side of the motor.Front passenger side of the motor.
There is none.
I don't know if the same applies to the VR6 but on the 1.8T you can find the oil filter by centering your self under the front of the car. Directly behind the radiator is the oil filter about midway up the car. Hoses can get in the way and block you from seeing it sometimes. Hope this helps. My brother has a regular 2.0 jetta, and I got a jetta VR6. The location of the oil filter is different on the VR6 here is a link to find it. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?1749962
