Its not a spin on type filter, its inside a housing on the left side of the exhaust manifold
If you will crawl under the vehicle and look closely on the engine block you will find the oil filter.

Your Holden/Opel Astra requires an ACEA A5 oil, check the bottle for that spec in a 5w30 weight oil. Synthetic oil can either be 0w30 or 5w-30.
