The output shaft speed sensor on a 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK 430 is located on the transmission. Specifically, it can be found near the rear of the transmission case, where it monitors the speed of the output shaft. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle and remove any protective covers or components obstructing the sensor. Always ensure the vehicle is safely supported before attempting any maintenance.
The vehicle speed sensor will be located above the transmission output shaft.
On the top of the transmission, above the output shaft.
the output speed sensor is the one on the transmission for the PCM and speedometer..it has a cable and a set of wires coming off of it..i think it is on the right side of the tranny near the output shaft
It is located on the rear of the transmission, drivers side. 5 minute fix...
On a 4 speed transmission it is the output speed sensor. That ir the sensor on the front of the trans farthest to the driver side. On a 3speed transmission it is on the housing that the passenger axle shaft comes out of trans in.
On my 2000 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7 are 2 sensors. They are both located on drivers side of transmission. The one close to bell housing is input shaft speed sensor. The one at end of transmission is output shaft speed sensor. My input sensor went bad but replaced both. Both sensors are the same. Fairly easy to change out. About $47.00 each at dealer.
The output speed sensor in a 2000 Chrysler Concorde is located on the transmission. Specifically, it can be found on the rear side of the transmission case, near the tail shaft. To access it, you may need to raise the vehicle and remove any necessary components for better visibility and access.
The vehicle speed signal comes from the transmission computer via the output speed sensor. The output speed sensor is on the front, driver side of the transmission case.
In a 2000 Ford Excursion, the speed sensor is typically located on the transmission. Specifically, it can be found on the rear portion of the transmission case, near the output shaft. This sensor monitors the vehicle's speed and sends the information to the vehicle's computer and speedometer. If you have difficulty locating it, consulting a repair manual or a professional mechanic may be helpful.
The transmission computer takes the output speed sensor signal and sends it to the cluster for the speedometer reading. The output speed sensor is a likely cause. The transmission computer takes the output speed sensor signal and sends it to the cluster for the speedometer reading. the sensor is located in the differential housing on the back of the transmission. (this is the speedomoter sensor, it is in the housing that the pass axle shaft slides into) For the 3.3/3.8L, it is near the bell-housing facing the firewall, as it senses the magnets that are on the torque converter when it spins. (that is the engine speed crank position sensor)
The output speed sensor is located on the back end of the transmission. The vehicle speed signal comes from the abs sensor on the top of the rear axle.
