Where is the map sensor on a Renault scenic?
In Megane / Megane Scénic --99: When viewed from the front of the car, it's located on the right side of the engine block, in the back wall under the plastic rain cover. It's a small (about the size of couple of matchboxes) black plastic box. There's one wire and one thin tube connected to it. The tube is usually a source of problems, as it can easily crack. When this happens, it lights up the "Electronic Malfunction" warning light in the dashboard. When removing the map sensor, be extra careful not to break the four small plastic clips that hold it in place, as they can be fragile. Also the tube connects to a small "pipe" under the map sensor that can break if bent.
