The spare tire is located in the front trunk area. It stands upright and cannot be missed once the front lid is open. It may be coved by a fabric bag with a pocket for tools etc. including the lug nut key.
2005 and newer Boxsters do not have a spare tire they have a repair kit and the 12 volt air pump located in Fronk (Front trunk) behind a plastic panel. Tire pump has a large current draw and must be plug in the outlet in console box only.
