in side spare wheel under the car if not inside
To remove the spare wheel on a Citroen Xsara Picasso, first, locate the spare wheel compartment, usually found under the boot floor. Use the appropriate tool, typically a wheel brace or a spanner, to loosen the bolt securing the spare wheel in place. Once the bolt is removed, lift the spare wheel out of the compartment. Make sure to securely stow any tools or components after the wheel is removed.
I got a copy of my Picasso key from Timpson. They have 900 outlets around the UK.A lot of the Timson stores cut and supply car keys. They tell you how to tune in the ''chip'' in the key to your car.It cost me £40.
Take out spanner from the right hand rear floor compartment. Unscrew the bolt attaching the wheel from the inside of the boot.
Does a Citroen berlingo Roma home 2001 have a spare tire
The wheel jack on the Picasso is located in a plastic case (which also doubles up as a wedge to stop the car rolling back) inside the spare tyre. To access the spare tyre you will need to locate the winding handle. This is kept in one of the two floor storage bins in the rear passanger footwell. Use this to "unwind" the spare tyre using the bolt located in the boot under the carpet "lift up flat" to the right of the boot. Wind the tyre down and unhook the tyre to find the plastic case which is held inside the wheel. The jack is inside this case. A word of warning: The jack on my Picasso stripped it's thread as I trtied to use it to jack the car up!
To change a tire on a Citroën Xsara Picasso, first ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and engage the handbrake. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly before using a jack to lift the car until the tire is off the ground. Remove the loosened nuts completely, take off the flat tire, and replace it with the spare tire, tightening the nuts by hand. Finally, lower the car back to the ground and securely tighten the nuts in a star pattern to ensure even pressure.
