Close the tailgate!
the tailgate unlocks with the rear doors. Are your rear doors unlocking properly ? is your car battery weak ??
Buy a new one. Seriously what needs repairing in the tailgate? There are many items that can fail and need repair. Please be more specific.
you have 2 of them. they are located before and after the catalytic converter
check with your dealer,i have a 1999 v70 wagon.there was a recall and the dealer fixes it for nothing, good luck
If you mean for Coolant level sensor it is on the bottom of the plastic coolant dish on the passenger side of the car.
I shut mine off by crossing the wire on the sensor; strip the protective palstic from the wires and twist them together. Probably a bad sensor that opens the loop to the alarm system.

Not sure about manually but I used my key on driver side door and unlocked twice. Turn the key twice and you will hear it unlock. This popped the lock on the tailgate. When in doubt, always go to the drivers door!
In most cases the window is not stuck. The fact is, the tailgate is not make enough contact with the sensor(s) that prevent you from rolling up the rear window when the tailgate is open. To roll up the window, first try shutting the tailgate with some force, as opposed to lightly, to ensure that it is shut well enough to make contact with the sensor. If the window still will not roll up, with the tailgate closed, push forceably on the upper drivers side corner of the tailgate, while you turn the key to roll up the window. If this does not work, start checking the typical electronics, fuse, wiring, etc...
Check the sensor switch first.
In a 1998 Volvo V70, the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is typically located in the intake manifold or near the air intake duct. To find it, follow the air intake hose from the air filter to the throttle body; the sensor is usually mounted in this area. It may also be integrated into the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, depending on the engine configuration. If you're having difficulty locating it, refer to a repair manual specific to your vehicle model for precise diagrams.
