Where is the thermostat on a 1.1 Peugeot 106 engine?

Open the bonnet,

Follow the top coolant hose (On the passanger side of the car) from the radiator to the point where it connects to the engine,

The housing that this hose connects too is the housing for the thermostat.

Remove the two retaining bolts and the thermostat will be accessible.
