I have a 1999 cabrio and the trunk release is in the centre console. If you unlock the little box there is a trunk release button in there. Hope this helps you out.
On a 1995 VW Cabrio, the trunk release is typically located inside the vehicle, near the driver's seat. You can find it on the left side of the dashboard, near the door, or as a button on the center console. Additionally, there may be a mechanical release lever located in the trunk area itself, accessible when the rear seats are folded down.
On a 99 there is a cover located on the left side of the trunk. Pull out the 3 ince plastic plug and turn the "T" handle valve CCW.
Probably a pull knob located in the trunk.
It's located in the gas tank. You can get to it by pulling out the top cover in your trunk.
The key for the Volkswagen Cabrio from the years 2000 through 2004 are still 'MFG RESTRICTED' and are a 'DEALER RESTRICTED KEY'. Unfortunately you will have to go to the dealer for any additional keys. There is not a separate 'VALET' key. Some models have what is called a 'SERVICE KEY' which will operate the locks, but will not start the vehicle. The Cabrio is not one of these. Hopefully you've found it by now, but it's in the trunk. Should be on passenger side.
The trunk release for a 1997 Chevy Lumina is located on the driver side floor. An emergency release is also located inside the trunk.
To fix a broken trunk latch on a 2002 Volkswagen Cabrio, start by inspecting the latch mechanism for any visible damage or misalignment. If the latch is stuck, use a lubricant to loosen it, and check the connecting cable for any breaks. If the latch is broken, you may need to replace it by removing the interior trim panel to access the latch assembly. Once replaced, test the latch to ensure it operates smoothly before reassembling the trim.

The paint code will be located in the trunk area on the spare tire cover of a new Volkswagen Beetle.
The trunk release on a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix is located on the floor, near the driver's seat. There is also one located inside the trunk for emergencies.
