Fuse labeled instruments.
I have a 1991 944S2 Cabriolet and still have the window sticker. The price on the window sticker is $53,000.
First if you havent already check to make sure it isn't a fuse the fuse that controls your tail lights and instrument cluster specifically. If it isn't there should be screws on either side of the light that just unscrew to get to the bulb inside
Front of the transmition
generally the tail light fuse is the same fuse as the turn signals
Rain tray, driver's side.
Under the dash. About the level of your left shin.
you have to take out the intrument cluster and replaced the light bulbs that are inside the instrument cluster!...its really simple
Physically it will fit in but the 91 had more indicator lights on it than the 88 did, the inflate/reset light for example for the airbag
Panel lights and parking/tail lights should be on 1 circuit Brake lights should be on a separate circuit If you are sure fuses are good- Check bulbs Check headlight switch Check stoplight switch
On many cars, there is a dimmer switch which controls the instrument panel lights. If this switch is turned all the way, it may cause the overhead light to come on. The overhead light will then stay on even after doors have all been closed. Find the dimmer switch, close the doors, wait 30 seconds, and then turn the dimmer switch.
I have a 1991 Chevy surburan and it has no tail lights and no dash lights, all fuses are good
