To display the outside temperature on a 2011 Mercedes E 350, ensure that the ignition is on and the vehicle is in "Run" mode. The outside temperature should automatically appear on the instrument cluster display. If it doesn’t, check the settings in the vehicle's menu or consult the owner's manual for any adjustments. Additionally, make sure the temperature sensor is functioning properly, as a faulty sensor could prevent the display from showing the correct temperature.

If the outside temperature LED display on your Mercedes CLK320 is going out, it may indicate a faulty temperature sensor or a wiring issue. You can start by checking the sensor's connection and wiring for damage or corrosion. If everything appears intact, the sensor itself may need to be replaced. Consulting a professional mechanic or visiting a dealership is advisable for accurate diagnosis and repair.

Temperature will not damage unit. If a/c is needed during periods of low ambient temperatures controls should be added. The added controls will simulate normal temperatures by cycling or modulating the condenser fan motor to maintain proper condensing pressure/ temperature, etc. These are common on equipment, server and cellular site equipment where the a/c load exists even when it is -40 outside. lc
