The Mercedes S-Class seat may not automatically reset due to several reasons, including a malfunction in the memory seat function, a software issue, or a dead battery in the key fob. Additionally, if the seat memory settings have not been properly saved or if there is a mechanical problem with the seat adjustment mechanism, it could prevent automatic resetting. It's advisable to consult the owner's manual or a dealer for troubleshooting steps specific to the model.
To reset the driver seat in a Mercedes C320, first, ensure the vehicle is on or in the accessory position. Locate the seat adjustment controls on the side of the seat and press the “reset” button if available, or move the seat to its desired position and then hold the memory button (usually numbered 1 or 2) until you hear a confirmation sound. If your model doesn’t have a reset feature, adjusting the seat to your preferred position should automatically save it. For further assistance, consult the vehicle's owner's manual.
