Fuse 14 controls the remote central locking and windows - in addition it has a link to the interior lights. The most common fault causing the fuse to blow is the front centre dome lighing console. the cables melt and cause the fuses to blow. please see this link http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/p/340705/2307643.aspx
You mug. Its in the car!
fuse 42 is 4 the radio
For a righthanded steering wheel car, it should be fuse number 19 (10A) EdoF
yea
Bora have 2.8 VR6,and Golf MK4 have 3.2.So Golf maybe will win.
mk4 golfs suffor with fan motors failing as a RAC pertrol iv come accross alot of thease they also blow the main fuse on top of the battery. fues blows due to motor strain i guess.
The fuse box is inside the drivers door on the side of the dashboard. There is a diagram of the fuse box on the inside of the cover. The fuse for the stereo is fuse 42 on the diagram 3rd fuse up on the left side of the fuse box.
yes they will
A complete listing of the fuses, and what they are for, is on the inside cover of the fuse box. The owners manual will also have a listing of the fuses.
MK4
yes as long as they are the same stud fitment. The mk4 golf is 5x100 bolt pattern and the mk3 golf is 4x100. unless it's a vr6 model which has the 5x100 bolt pattern so in general the mk4 wheels will not fit a mk 3.
On a MK4 Golf GTI, the ECU relay is typically located in the fuse box, which is found on the driver's side of the vehicle, just beneath the dashboard. You can access it by removing the cover of the fuse box; the relay is usually labeled for easy identification. If you're having trouble, consult the vehicle's manual for specific details on the relay's position.
