This is because you have fitted a new radio to your car which is not the same as vauxhall fitted at new. The vauxhall radio and clock on your corsa are connected by a wire which i belive is gray/red, Which when the radio is switched on the date will go off on your clock and be replaced with the radio station, But your new radio does not have this function, So the date will go off leaving the screen blank, I belive cutting the gray/red wire will stop the date from going off, Not 100% sure, Try it if date still goes off just reconnect wire. GOOD LUCK
By pressing the on/off switch.
on the back of the radio
To manually tune the radio in an Opel Corsa you need to turn off RDS. When RDS is on the car will cycle through the radio stations that are available.
lights on the radio and clock have gone off
The fuse for the radio on a 2002 Vauxhall Corsa SXi is typically located in the fuse box situated in the driver's side dashboard. To access it, open the driver's door and remove the cover panel to reveal the fuse box. Look for the fuse labeled for the radio or audio system; it is usually a small blade fuse. If you're unsure, consult the owner's manual for the exact fuse location and specifications.

For a Vauxhall Vectra 2.0 TDI, the fuse that typically controls the display for the radio and clock is often a 10 amp fuse. It is usually located in the fuse box under the dashboard or in the engine compartment. Always refer to the vehicle's owner manual for the exact fuse location and specifications, as configurations may vary by year and model.
A clock radio and an alarm clock are two very similar things which provide some of the same functions however they differ in their features. An alarm clock is a basic clock which has an alarm function and a clock radio combines the use of an AM/FM radio and an alarm clock.
