On a Rover 414, the thermostat is typically located near the engine, often on the engine block or in the coolant housing. It's usually situated along the upper radiator hose, which connects the radiator to the engine. For precise location and access, it's advisable to refer to the vehicle's service manual, as configurations can vary.
You add it to your water tank this is used to stop oil leaks in engines, follow instructions to the letter or it will not work.
Range Rover Classic EFI will foul spark plugs if you start and stop the engine when cold. All models with 3.5, 3.9, 4.2, 4.0, 4.6 will wear out camshafts and/or blow headgaskets from 150,000km to 200,000km.
remove the center cover on the engine, two cross head screws this will give you access to the leads and plugs
To disable the alarm on a Rover 414, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine. Then, press the alarm button on the remote or use the key fob to unlock the doors, which should deactivate the alarm. If the alarm persists, disconnect the car battery for a few minutes and reconnect it, which may reset the system. Always refer to the vehicle's manual for specific instructions related to your model.
