not so sure about mayo but build up in the oil cap and emissions lights are signs of a lack of proper maintaince could be oxygen sensor, or other sensor for emissions going bad, Need a code reader to tell you which code is tripping. 75 dollars for code reader at harbor freight when I bought mine saved me 200 dollars in trouble shooting. for 30 dollar sensor
