On my '92 Diamante LS, I've noticed that the SRS light turns on when the battery's low on power. It could just be a massive coincidence, but I'd have the battery and alternator checked. If that doesn't solve your problem, have the airbag system checked -- that's one system you do not want failing.

How can you reset the srs light for a1994 mitshubishi expo LRV 2.4
The SRS light in my 1999 Diamante came on because my right rear Brake ABS unit needed to be replaced. It is most likely something to do with the ABS braking system but it should be coded out to be sure.
It is just a sensor. My car, however is not a 1992 Diamante, but I own a 1998 Camaro and it is nothing but a sensor. It is nothing to worry about.
Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
If the SRS light comes on then you have a problem with the air bag system. If you do not have a professional repair the system the light will just come back on.
Problem with the SRS. Not a DIY repair. Take it to a professional.
I'm not positive, but I think there's a fuse located in the fuse box under the hood labeled SRS. If not, try unplugging the wire under the drivers seat and see if the light goes out.
NO, they are programmed differently.
The srs light indicates a problem with the airbag system.
The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) light is on because the SRS module detected a fault. Until the fault is repaired the light will remain on. Once the repair is correctly done the SRS light will reset itself. As long as the SRS light is on the SRS will not function if you should need it.
You can't. The SRS light is on because the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) has detected a fault in the system. Until it is fixed the light will remain on and the SRS will not function if needed. Once the necessary repairs are done the SRS system will reset the light itself.
The light is on because there is a problem with the SRS. Take it to a professional for repair of the SRS (Air Bags). They will reset the light after the repair. This is not a DIY repair.
