There are several reasons why a 1995 S500 Mercedes may be running hot. Common issues include a malfunctioning thermostat, which may be stuck closed, preventing coolant circulation; a failing water pump, which can inhibit proper coolant flow; or a clogged radiator that restricts cooling efficiency. Additionally, low coolant levels or leaks in the cooling system can also contribute to overheating. It's important to diagnose the specific cause to prevent engine damage.

Your heads are probably warped from overheating. have them checked out by a machine shop. Sometimes they can machine them back to flat, but you might have to replace them.
the crankshaft sensor looses signal when it gets hot replace sensor
Perhaps plugged radiator - have it boiled out or replaced
If the car was running ok before the hot wire then the is a problem with the wire connections. If you are not sure of the before condition then start with fuel pressure, and proper fire and timings.
