Required on most all models. that's just the way they are enegineered to get the most efficiency.
premium gas
Premium fuel is required in ALL Mercedes-Benz.
Premium is recommended by manufacturer.
It uses premium gas. Probably diesel. Possibly gas. Premium. Link: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/noframes/6712.shtml
, The Mercedes Benz uses 8 quarts of oil.
These cars are absolutely designed and require Premium. They may run on regular, but not happily. (But, they do get great gas mileage!).
It is highly recommended that you DO NOT use regular gas in ANY Mercedes. They were all built to run on premium and you can cause serious damage to your engine if you don't. In fact, I've been told that the "premium" fuel in the US is garbage compared the the premium fuel in Germany. So, don't use regular if you like your car.
Premium. Always.
No. Premium grade gasoline is required by Mercedes-Benz. To use a lower grade could cause engine damage.Source: FuelEconomy.gov:1998 Mercedes-BenzE320 Sedan -- See the related link.
Using regular gasoline in a Mercedes-Benz C240, which is designed to run on premium fuel, may lead to reduced performance, fuel efficiency, and potential engine knocking due to lower octane ratings. While the engine may still run on regular fuel, it might not operate optimally, and long-term use could result in engine damage. It's generally recommended to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and use premium gasoline for the best performance and longevity of the vehicle.
Yes. All Unleaded Gasoline Mercedes Benz vehicles require Premium (91 Octane and above) Gasoline. Do not use anything other than Premium Gasoline. Lower grade gasoline can harm the engine.
As noted on the gas gauge and all manuals....it is designed to take premium. That isn't to say it wouldn't run on a lesser grade...but probably not very well.
