if the 22s were made for that make and model. why mess up a good thing?
It would be difficult to drive and you would probably have to get it tubbed depending on the profile of the tire your trying to fit

I just put 22" and they fit perfectly. The 20" I had on it looked good but still left about a 2" gap from the tire to the fender using a 35 thickness, tire.
