All saxo and 106 gearboxes are interchangable.
Yes, the VTR does, not sure if all years do, but my 2001 1.1 gearbox fitted onto my 2003 VTR :)
Yes same size
IT will, but the mountings wont, you have to use the old ones...
yes it will any saxo/pug gearbox will fit but putting a 1.4 gearbox on a 1.1 will slow the car down as the gear ratio's in the 1.4 gearbox are longer meaning your cars acceleration will be affected
assuming the old ones aready out,get the car in the air, lift the new gearbox in and wiggle it into place, then do up all the bell housing bolts.gearbox fitted!
A 1956 red carbon gearbox will fit
A 1998 VTR gearbox will typically fit a 2002 Saxo, as both cars share similar platforms and components. However, it's essential to verify that both vehicles have the same engine type and transmission specifications to ensure compatibility. Additionally, minor modifications may be necessary for a proper fit. Always consult a professional or specific vehicle forums for detailed advice before proceeding.
A eaton fuller 18 speed roadranger gearbox is used
A saxo is essentially a 106
of course it will, vice versa just like a saxo VTS/VTR engine will fit in a forte or desire
