We all train to get off the platform if we lose control. We have Fire Fighters and Rescue Trained personal on board all the time. We have Coast Guard or a way to get you in if you get hurt. There are so many fail safe safety devices in place to protect the environment and personal. We spend 8 months out of the year together on a platform that morn time than with our wives's. Wouldn't want to work anywhere else. You are in more danger getting to work than on a platform. People on a every day to day life don't have safety in mind 24 hrs a a day.
