In the story of Ragnarök, Loki kills and is killed by the god Heimdall.
Well, Thor is a Norse god, not a Greek one. At 'Ragnarok', the destruction of the gods, Thor struggles with the big snake and they both die. Thor confronted the Midgard Serpent on the sea shore in the preamble to Ragnarok. He struck the monster five times in the head before it died. Then Thor took nine steps backwards and fell down dead from the serpents poisonous breath.
The battle of Ragnarok has a very 'charming' epilogue. Balder comes back from the dead as does the blind Höðr who killed him. The two humans that survived by hiding in a tree were Líf and Lífþrasir. Odin's brother Honir Odin's sons Vidar and Vali (possibly the same person) Thor's sons Modi and Magni. (They also preserve Mjöllnir, thor's hammer)
In Norse mythology, Thor's arch-nemesis is considered to be Jormungandr, the serpent that encircles the world and is prophesied to cause his death during Ragnarok. In Marvel comics, Loki is often portrayed as Thor's primary antagonist and arch-nemesis.
