My fiance had a guy come up to her at the gym and start chatting. He said he doesnt do this often and he doesn't have many friends. She also stated half jokingly that he was flirting with her. They chatted a bit and exchanged numbers with plans to meet up for coffee. Sound fairly innocent. I tell my fiance im uncomfortable with her going out with a guy she just met who was flirting with her at the gym. At no point in their conversation did she mention that shes in a relationship. Which I see as a willfull omission and leading the guy on. She says when she agreed to meet for coffee she told him "I'm always interested in making new friends" feeling that that was enough to tell him shes not interested in dating, just making a new friend. I know im being a little overbearing but at the same time feel a bit betrayed by her agreeing to go out with a guy that was flirting with her and also not telling him, right when he asked her to coffee, that shes in a relationship.
