Generally, no. It takes life experience to become "mature" and some adults are not mature. I think a mature person is a person who can take responsibility for their own actions without giving excuses for the mistakes and problems that happen in life. There are many things that happen in life that children just don't have experience or knowledge of and this can only come from living and experiences. Our life experiences help shape us, give us insights into the world, and sharpen perceptions.
