Are people with Asperger's Syndrome most likely to be forever alone or is it possible for them to have partners when they grow up?

There are many levels and spectrums of autism and Asperger's syndrome. Statistically, however, people with a mental or behavioural condition are less likely to obtain a sexual and romantic partner. This is not based on the fact that they may be discriminated against, but rather, that their social aspects may not be as well developed. As a result, they may have difficulty socialising with members of the opposite sex.

That being said, there are many autistic and Asperger's people who are able to lead a normal life and happily find a partner. It is important that the families and friends of the autistic or Asperger's sufferer support him/her as best they can.
